Introduction: DRIs are a set of four categories of values used for diet planning and evaluation for healthy individuals. Based on the recommendations of DRIs and habitual food consumption, it is possible to calculate the probability of adequacy or inadequacy of ingestion. The calculation of probability presents relative complexity, which raises difficulties in the application of this knowledge in everyday professional practice. Objective: To present values for assessing the adequacy of micronutrient intake by adults. Methods: For the adequacy calculation, intrapersonal standard deviation values of nutrient intake obtained from national data from the ISA-Capital study were considered. A reliability level of 70% was adopted, corresponding to the value of Z 0.5, classifying values above this level as adequate habitual intake. Results: Individual intake values of vitamin E, vitamin B6, thiamine, riboflavin, calcium, magnesium, iron, zinc, folate and niacin nutrients were obtained, based on a 3-day food record, for males and females, second stage. of life. Conclusion: The values presented, based on national data, are useful for the nutritionist to be able to assess, with greater ease and agility, the adequacy of micronutrient intake by individuals, in the practical context of nutritional care.
